Watch: MPs accuse Abdiasis Laftagaren of treason and issue a critical demand

Some of the MPs from the South West region held a press conference tonight in Mogadishu, they spoke strongly about the social mobilization that took place on Friday in the city of Hudur in the Bakool region, where a demonstration in support of Ethiopia took place.

The MPs issued a press release and made serious allegations against the President K/Galbed Abdicisis Laftagareen, suggesting that he should be held accountable for the mistake he is making in Somalia’s independence.

MPs from K/Galbeed said they were shocked by what happened in Hudur district which was a violation of Somalia’s sovereignty, accusing Laftagareen of organizing the protest.

The people who protested for Ethiopia in Hudur are under strict isolation by the Khawarij, and they are forced to do so because of the illegal presence of Laftagareen,” said MP Balaag who read the statement.

He said that Laftagareen did not allow the Khawarij to be liberated from K/Galbeed, which made the South West areas a place where the war to liberate the country from the Khawarij could not take place.

The command of the country’s armed forces prepared more than two battalions and a large base for the Danab army to be established in the South West, but the plan of the president of the area, Abdicasis Laftagareen, was clearly blocked,” added Balaag MP.

The parliamentarians said in their news that Somalia is an independent country that can enter into an agreement with anyone,

“The Ethiopian government never has the right to invade Somalia, and the federal government of Somalia is responsible for protecting the sovereignty of Somalia.”

The parliamentarians also said in their press release, “His illegal presence in Laftagareen has benefited him to engage in treason, and he is a threat to the existence of Somalia and the stability of the South West region.

We remind the central government that Laftagareen has committed national treason. deserves to be held accountable.”
